A cracked or broken trunk seal will allow exhaust fumes and/or water to enter the trunk while driving. Air coming off the rear of the car will spin upwards and back towards the car and exhaust fumes can be pushed into the trunk through the seal. It will also keep water sealed out and will also keep your trunk cleaner, keeping dust and dirt out. All this for less than 1/3 the price of the original. The OEM Porsche seal, part number 94150435110, sells for around $300.00 but now you have an alternative for much less. This seal is not the original Porsche trunk seal, it’s slightly different but works just as good as the original, and looks very close. The seal is only very slightly different. It’s super easy to install. The old one just pulls off and the new one just pushes on. Installation takes about 5 minutes and can makes a big difference.
